RETAINERS
(Splints after orthodontic therapy)
Removing the braces does not mark the end of therapy – the teeth need protection to prevent them from returning to their previous position. A retainer keeps them correctly positioned and ensures lasting results.
It is a transparent, thin splint made from a special material, fabricated from an individual impression or a digital jaw scan. It is comfortable to wear and can be used during the day or at night, depending on the phase of therapy.
