ORAL SURGERY
Oral surgery is a branch of dental medicine that encompasses surgical procedures within the oral cavity and jaws, aimed at preserving and improving oral health, function, and aesthetics.

It includes a wide range of surgical procedures within the oral cavity, including surgical tooth extractions, removal of pathological tissue, and the placement of dental implants.

TOOTH EXTRACTION
Tooth extraction is the procedure of removing a tooth from the jaw. Although we always strive to preserve the natural tooth, in certain situations extraction is unavoidable.
The procedure is indicated in cases of severely damaged teeth, advanced periodontal disease, after trauma, or due to insufficient space for orthodontic treatment.
We perform extractions using minimally invasive techniques to preserve the surrounding tissue, ensuring that recovery is as comfortable and brief as possible.
The absence of a tooth compromises the stability of the remaining teeth, causing them to shift and rotate, changes in the bite, disorders of the jaw joint, and accelerated bone loss — all of which can limit the options available for optimal treatment.
That is why it is very important to replace an extracted tooth as soon as possible.

Teeth can be replaced with implants, crowns, bridges, dental prostheses, or a combination of prosthetic restorations.
The advantage of dental implants is that they do not require preparation of adjacent healthy teeth, fully replace the lost tooth, preserve surrounding teeth, and prevent bone loss.
DENTAL IMPLANT PLACEMENT
Dental implant placement is a surgical procedure in which a titanium implant is inserted into the jawbone to replace the natural root of a tooth.
The implant serves as a stable support for crowns, bridges, and prostheses. Titanium is a biologically neutral material that enables firm and permanent bonding of the implant with the bone.
With dental implants, it is possible to replace a single tooth, several teeth, or to address complete edentulism.

The procedure is painless and performed under local anaesthesia.
SINUS LIFT
If a lost tooth is not replaced in time, jawbone loss occurs, and the sinuses occupy the space where the bone once was. Because of this, it may not be possible to place an implant immediately, and a sinus lift is required.
A sinus lift is an oral surgical procedure in which the floor of the maxillary sinus is raised and artificial bone is added to create a solid foundation for implant placement.
In cases of minor bone loss, the implant can be placed immediately, simultaneously with the sinus lift, while in cases of greater loss, it is necessary to wait for the new bone to integrate and strengthen.
The procedure is painless and performed under local anaesthesia.
APICOECTOMY
An apicoectomy is an oral surgical procedure in which the tip of the root of a tooth with an inflammatory process is removed.
We perform apicoectomies on teeth where endodontic treatment has failed to resolve the inflammatory process at the root tip.
An apicoectomy is a short and painless procedure performed under local anaesthesia.

CYSTECTOMY
Cystectomy is a surgical procedure for the removal of periapical lesions such as abscesses, granulomas, or various cysts around the tooth root.
These changes are most commonly discovered on a panoramic X-ray when a patient presents with severe pain or swelling. Cysts develop as a consequence of chronic inflammation or unsuccessful endodontic therapy.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, is painless, and allows for rapid recovery.
FRENULECTOMY
Frenulectomy is an oral surgical procedure in which the frenulum – the small fold of tissue located beneath the upper lip or tongue – is released.
The frenulum in the lower jaw can restrict tongue movement and impair speech, while in the upper jaw it can cause a gap between the front teeth (diastema) or gum recession.
The procedure is simple, painless, and brief.

GINGIVECTOMY
Gingivectomy is a procedure in which excess gum tissue (gingiva) is removed, either for health or aesthetic reasons.
It is performed in patients with periodontal diseases and gum inflammation, as well as in those who require removal of excess gum tissue for aesthetic smile correction.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, and recovery is rapid and painless.
DENTAL LASER
The use of laser in oral surgery achieves exceptional results, as it enables precise tissue treatment with minimal damage to surrounding structures, significantly reduces post-operative pain and swelling, accelerates healing and tissue regeneration, and reduces the risk of infection thanks to its antibacterial effect.
The dental laser significantly improves the safety and success of oral surgical procedures.

PRGF® Endoret® represents the gold standard in oral tissue regeneration.
PRGF® ENDORET®
For surgical procedures, implant placement, sinus lifts, and other bone regeneration procedures, we use PRGF® Endoret® — the most advanced technology for obtaining the patient’s own platelet-rich plasma — which accelerates healing, promotes regeneration of bone and soft tissue, and reduces post-operative pain and swelling.

OZONE THERAPY
Thanks to ozone therapy, minimally invasive procedures in oral surgery – such as frenulum removal, gingival contouring, cyst and lesion removal of various origins – are performed with greater precision, with accelerated healing and reduced post-operative pain and swelling.
